When I got engaged, I immediately began thinking of all the things I could DIY for the wedding. I thought about all the money we could save if I made it all myself- decorations, invitations, and even all the gifts. Oh the gifts. The many, many gifts. I of COURSE didn’t think about the stress it would cause me trying to get it all done! Ah well, c’est la vie. While hunting for brooches for my bridesmaids (to turn in to hair combs) that somewhat matched the theme was a sometimes-grueling-3-month-long task, the actual making them part was very easy! I recently bought little kraft brown jewelry boxes to ship my rings and earrings on Etsy, but they are plain and I wanted to give them my personal touch. I have Katie Crafts logo stickers, and they are cute! But they are white. I really wanted to keep the handmade kraft brown look with a logo stamp instead.
