Wordless Wednesday: Peony
Yesterday I showed you a ton of photos from the Shofuso Japanese House and Garden from here in Philly. I even included a few beautiful shots of “tree peonies,” but I saved this one for today’s Wordless Wednesday because it’s my favorite!
I should have put my hand to scale in some of them so you could see just how huge they were- almost the size of my head! They were definitely the largest flowers I’ve ever seen. They were absolutely gorgeous and I hope one day I have the room to plant one of these shrubs in my yard.

I love peonies, they are gorgeous! Have not seen one for years…
Wow! Sunflowers are probably the biggest blooms I’ve seen in person.
