Project: Small Crocheted Bowl Pattern
You may remember me mentioning that I acquired a new crafting desk from IKEA the other day. I won’t be posting photos of it til it’s 100% completed and adorable, but in the process of getting it to that point I’m finding I need more storage baskets and bowls than I’d realized. Rather than buy even more than I already have, I thought I’d take a stab at making them myself! Continue reading Small Crocheted Bowl

I will show you in FIVE minutes with only TWO materials what to do to make your own! Continue reading How To Make T-Shirt Yarn
Project: Reversible Tote Bag Tutorial
Hooray for Friday! Let’s celebrate with one of my favorite things to make! It takes a bit of time (okay, more time for me than it probably should, but then again I only am just learning how to use my sewing machine), but the results are a sturdy, well-made tote bag, that happens to be reversible, that you can use this weekend. How lovely! Continue reading Reversible Tote Bag Tutorial
Project: DIY Sharpie Mug
Need a last minute gift for a co-worker before tomorrow? Grab an unused plain coffee cup and a few Sharpie markers and make your friend a personalized mug for their desk! Bonus: Since it’s homemade just for them, they’ll feel extra special and not at all think that you scraped it together last minute. Continue reading DIY Sharpie Mug
Project: No Sew Braided Headband
Let me preface this post by saying this is one of the easiest headbands you will ever make. The other easiest is in the Tips!
Soon (hopefully very soon!) I’ll be able to put away my adorable winter hat and sport some even cuter headbands in weather that doesn’t freeze my face off. In anticipation of such, I’m on a headband-making-spree. In addition to the reversible headbands that require time, patience and a sewing machine (post on those to come!), I’m making these really fun braided headbands in every color that require only a few minutes and no sewing at all!
